Nguyen Dinh

Nguyen Dinh is a Senior Research Fellow in the MaREI Centre, University College Cork. He is the Principal Investigator of offshore cable, wind and hydrogen projects, and was successfully managing the multi-disciplinary SFI EirWind project collaborated with 10 industry partners and developed the Blueprint for Offshore Wind in Ireland 2020-2050. He was a senior engineer at Wood Plc and a Marie-Curie fellow at Trinity College Dublin and PLAXIS, and won the Mitsui-Sumitomo Insurance Welfare Foundation Research Award in 2009. He has experience working with and supporting the industry. His expertise include; dynamics; floating, offshore wind and hydrogen energy systems; energy markets; and leading complex and innovative projects with multiple-stakeholders.
